By bond007jms from UT on 01/01/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots have a VERY narrow toe box. I have narrow feet and yet this boot's toe box is too small for my feet.
If you have an extremely narrow foot, they might work. If you don't, consider this fair warning!
By Cris from toronto, ontario on 01/01/2009 Best Uses: Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots run big. I got 10.5 and I usually wear 10.5 - 11. These 10.5 feel like they're bigger than 11. I could've got 10 and fit in them! I'm wearing two pairs of thick socks so my feet won't move around too much. The front part is made of cheap looking plastic so if you're wondering they the price is low it's because the materials are cheap. On the bright side, they're pretty light, and the plastic bends very easily so you won't have much trouble breaking it in, if you even need to break them in.
By berner4fun from South Bristol,NY on 12/29/2008 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great all purpose winter boot;lightweight, warm & so far water resistant.Softer sole provides "better", traction on ice.I use these when snowshoeing & am very pleased.Initially the boot is a tad stiff - don't attempt to break in quick if you have "shin splints"-Ouch!

By joanska from Chicago on 12/28/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great pair of winter boots. Light and comfortable and for a good price. After few visits to a local stores I compared them with another boots available on the market. There is nothing in stores realy available for this sierra price and quality. I am again very happy that I bought great shoes in sierra trading post internet store. Thank you. That was also my wife choice.
comfort rated to -25°F.... By Wayne Lowry Jr from Greenville Ca. on 12/27/2008 Cons: Not Warm, Not Waterproof Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots are cold. They say "comfort rated to -25°F...." my feet got cold at 36 degrees. I would send them back but I will be out of luck on boots. It is false advertisement you sold me some boots that might be good for rain but not cold weather. I just can't seem to get a good pair of boots. You guys did not help me, I have to whare 3 pairs of socks and a whool sock and my feet are still cold. For the price I paid I could have got some snow boots. Not "comfort rated to -25°F...."
By Trigoutman from Biddeford, ME on 12/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Snow shoeing Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far, these are great boots. Warm, dry, but a little stiff with the little use so far. Great to have something I can trek through the snow with for some snow shoeing or other winter fun.
