She loves them. She is a hard core backpacker but these are for colder days. She describes them as fuzzy and loves the styling.

Nice looking, comfortable boot By Cocoa2 from Pottstown, PA on 11/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: General Outdoor Use Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Live in suburbs where transportation is sometimes an issue when it snows, thus necessitating lots of walking. Boots should come in handy. Lots of trails (almost 140 miles worth) to keep you fit...I'll have fun this winter knowing my feet will at least be warm.
All that I expected and then some!! By Freddie from Grand Blanc, Michigan on 11/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Fitness Walking, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My two daughters and I ordered the same boot based on style, color, and warmth rating for winter sports. We love the looks and the light weight of them indoors. The snow and cold has not yet arrived, but that will be the ultimate test. We are ready for that!
By jamom from chicago on 11/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't worn them in snow yet but they're warm and cute. The are slightly heavy which might take a few wearings to get used to.
By Chrissy from Washington on 11/06/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well lines and comfortable. Although I have had trouble with the fit because contrary to what info says, they run a bit big not small.
By Tee Kay from Montana on 11/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in Montana, and I grew up wearing hand me down boots. These were my first new pair of snow boots! I wear them in mud, snow and rain with never a complaint. I will hate to put them up in the summer- they are so comfy, warm and dry in sub zero weather. I also wear them in not so cold weather and my feet don't overheat. They clean up nicely and will surely last me a while. The only con- the laces can be challenge to tighten with mittens on. A good pull doens't do the trick since they are mid calf boots.
By Mary from Laramie, wy on 11/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got these boots because they could go under jeans or tuck jeans inside to keep pant legs dry when the snow is deep. Only used once so far but they seemed to be waterproof. Don't know about warm as it was not a cold day. I was able to keep them on around the house without my feet getting too hot. I ordered brown and black and found that the black is much stiffer suede and the tongue was not as comfortable out of the box so decided on the brown. Seemed true to size for use with wool hiking sox. I'm a Dansko wearer so like a wide, looser fitting toebox. [...]Would have given this a five if they were just a little more fashionable.
By Stella in AE from Vilseck, Germany on 11/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are excellent for those who live in cold and wet conditions. I ordered a half size up like the website suggested and they were like canoes on my feet. They are true to size. Luckily I ordered my own size because they were limited on my actual size! These are a great buy! I highly recommend them.
