I would say it is too small for her, but she does not agree. My son says it looks like a swim cap on her head- we all agree, but this does not bother my daughter. The fabric is wonderful and we are looking for a similar one for my father.

It doesn't fall down over her eyes and keeps her head very warm. I wouldn't recommend it for those days when your head would get wet as it's not entirely waterproof. My daughter (very petite) put it on and didn't want to give it back so I bought her one. Both wear them all the time. The best thing is that the fleece is soft and doesn't make your forehead itchy.
