It is so intuitive that it took no effort what so ever. In the morning I checked the directions just to make sure and all was well...I recommend the footprint and a pad.
Good so far, with a few quirks By Postal from Oregon on 09/08/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Light and small package. Set-up is super simple. Difficult to get fly tight, but vestibules are good size. Quirky zipper placement on main door.
By famousperson from Pittsburgh, PA on 07/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Waterproof Best Uses: Motorcycle Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took this on a two week motorcycle trip and had absolutely no problems. It rained frequently and the tent stayed dry. During one real toad-strangler in the Smokies it stood up well both to the rain and the wind. The size is just right for one motorcyclist and his or her gear (helmet, jacket, boots). It is relatively easy to set up. The stakes are barely adequate but are easily replaceable with a sturdier type. The best tent I have ever owned.
By B from Boone, NC on 07/16/2008 Pros: Easy to set up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the 2nd Sierra Designs tent I've owned. Decided to go smaller, lighter this time around. Size is a little small but you can't beat 5 lbs. and only 2 poles. Set up was simple. Tent is mostly mesh so when fly is open you really feel the breeze! So for a smaller tent it doesn't feel claustrophobic. Solid construction.
Durable but not breathable By Foredeckchick from Annapolis, MD on 07/15/2008 Cons: Collects Condensation, Heavy, Poor Fly Design Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If you are doing any lightweight backpacking I'd recommend the Big Agnes Seedhouse 2 SL. Ultrabreathable and lightweight, great value. This tent was too heavy and not breathable.
WONDERFULLY AIRY, and LIGHTWEIGHT By KS from Upstate Ny on 07/13/2008 Pros: Airy, Comfortable, Easy to set up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We have not had this out in the rain yet so I cannot comment on water-proof-ness, but it's a perfect size for 2, lightweight, and easy to set up! EXCELLENT value (so far). I LOVE the mesh body, great for star gazing!
Bought this tent for Motorcycle camping. By Snik from Natural Bridge, Virginia on 05/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy to set up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking, Motorcycle Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would recommend this tent for many uses. For me I needed at least a two person for motorcycle camping so I would have extra room to store my padded cycle clothing, boots, helmet, etc. Size was great and plenty of room left for sleeping.
