Light, Roomy but not Perfect By TJ from Boulder, CO on 06/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight Cons: Collects Condensation, Leaks in Moderate Rain Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Sets up very easily in 2-3 minutes. Well made except it is not 100% waterproof. We have drips in moderate rain. I believe it comes through the areas where there are velcro attachments for the fly to the frame. I may return if the problem repeats.
Good quality, light weight By Bike camper from Virginia on 06/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Beach, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have not been able to use it yet, but have set it up indoors and like the well though-out design. I plan to use it for overnight bike trips with my wife this summer. Not minimalist, but not too heavy for my needs.
Excellent backpacking tent By BackpackingScoutmaster from St Paul, MN on 04/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Cons: Collects Condensation Best Uses: Backpacking, Beach, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've taken this tent to Washington state, Texas, the Everglades and everywhere in between. It holds up amazing under all circumstances, with out the rain fly on it stays nice and cool, with it on, the tent stays unbelivably dry. I added the optional storage attic, and it adds a lot of storage space. The only thing that should have been added is a vent on the fly. All things considered I love this tent!

Sweet night viewing, nice construction! By juls from Cloquet, MN on 02/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy Best Uses: Backpacking, Canoe and kayak camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the material weight, seems sturdy yet lightweight enough to use for backpacking. I would use it backpacking, canoe and kayak camping and also cross country to set up at parks when needed.
I like the all one side door, leaves lots of room to get in and out. Also like the all screen to view the night skies. I like the pole set up, though the first time I was a bit confused...I think it will come easier with time. I was disappointed that it didn't come with a loft though.
Good, but room for improvement. By mhfm from Carlsbad, CA on 06/07/2008 Pros: Easy to set up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good tent, kept us warm in Ireland. That said, it would have been nice if it had a bigger vestibule and needs more pockets on the inside. Also, be prepared to have extra pegs as not enough are included to use with the fly.
By JMT connoisseur from Columbus, Ohio on 05/14/2008 Pros: Easy to set up, Lightweight, Sturdy Cons: Fly gets caught in zipper Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: AWESOME tent. Used it in Arizona mountains. Kept us warm at night, but vented well in the day. Fly can easily get caught in zipper. Definitely a two person tent, but not too crowded. Worth it all for the light weight!
