Good thing it wasn't very expensive By Disappointed from Albuquerque, NM on 02/02/2009 Best Uses: Sleeping, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This nightgown is much paler than I expected. It looks washed out, and it's brand new! It is also much larger than I expected, made for someone taller than my 5'3" height and would have to be taken in around the bust to fit me.
Stiff after rinsing. Hoping for soft. By Melmer from New York city on 08/04/2008 Cons: Not soft and cottony Describe Yourself: Eclectic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I always wash things before I wear them. This nightgown dried stiff as a board after a quick rinse in cold water. The print is sweet, and the style is o.k., but the fabric doesn't do it for me. Maybe I have to iron it. Ugh.
By jandives from Maui on 06/07/2008 Cons: Fabric is too thin, Lace trim itchs, Uncomfortable Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had high hopes for this nightie - I imagined it would be crisp, cool and made of super nice cotton sheeting that would just improve with age and washings. Well, the fabric is so thin, you can see right through it. The lace trim under the arms and at the bustline was very irritating and itchy. The adjustable straps seemed to have big plastic buckles that would certainly poke and be uncomfortable to sleep on. Sadly, I sent it back knowing it would never work for me.
By owl from New York on 05/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Nice Design, Soft, Well Made Best Uses: Lounging, Sleeping, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Organic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the print, cute and classy. I love that it is organic, I am not buying anything that is not organic anymore and to find a nightgown as cute as this in organic fabric is great. It's very comfortable too and the fabric softens with washing. The only thing I don't like is the bust and shoulder area is too big, dispite the adjustable clips for shoulder straps the bust and straps are not true to size, but the bottom half is just right, a size smaller would be too small so I will have to make adjustments to the top with the sewing machine.
