By smilin' Jim from Raleigh, NC on 03/12/2009 Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this is my 3rd pair of Etonics, so I have been wearing this shoe off and on for a few years. I have no arch, narrow feet and wear orthotics. I have completed 2 marathons wearing these, and have trained for many other events using these shoes. I find them stable without being too bulky or heavy and without a huge sacrifice in cushioning. I do have trouble finding shoes that work for me, and these are one of my favorites.
By Brian from Arlington, VA on 03/11/2009 Cons: Heavy, Wears Out Quickly Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Once shoe is broken in, is very comfortable. However, the sole, particularly the heel, wears down very quickly. Bought two pairs and both wore down quickly. Got sucked in due to low price - never again. Will stick with Brooks or New Balance.

Why is Etonic discontinuing this shoe? By Sam from Kansas City on 11/08/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Flexible, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Track, Trails Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been running for 15 years on a regular basis, and after trying several other shoes during the first year, found the Etonic Stable Pro to be a perfect fit and give me the support and stabilty I need. I've worn it exclusively since. No break-in has been necessary. I'm extremely disappointed that Etonic has decided to discontinue this model. They did it once before and I was able to scrounge the internet to find remaining shoes until they resumed production again. I'm not looking forward to again going through the process of finding a shoe that consistently fits well and offers great support and stability.
Used to be great: Now they are junk! By Frank from Houston, Texas on 10/15/2008 Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I used the Stable Air Pro shoes since they were introduced many years ago. In May 2008, I purchased three (3) pairs. By August 2008, the soles on all three (3) pairs had separated from the rest of the shoes and the heels were severely worn. While the name may be the same as before, the quality is NOT!
