Glad to have found it here.
By Active gal from Seattle, WA on 11/09/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great shoe for light hiking 3-5 miles. It hits below the ankle bone (unlike others I tried) so very comfortable - no break in time.
Should have fit, but didn't. By Linda from Washburn, WI on 11/09/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned these shoes. They felt terrible. I've worn Etonic for many years and the fit is always great. But this pair hurt around the top of the shoe, to the painful point. I don't know what went wrong, but they felt very poorly constructed, which is not the case usually with this brand.
By AZ RN from Scottsdale, AZ on 11/08/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Roomy toebox, Stable Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not a runner---I clock my miles on the nursing floor. First purchase of Etonic, I usually buy NB. These are firm but not stiff. The traction is perfect for indoors, some running shoes are too "grabby." I was impressed by the roomy toebox. I would buy them again. The arch is not high but they're roomy enough for an arch support insert.
Not really a running shoe By summer taos from Florida on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Okay. Seriously..... Not really a serious running shoe. I sent my pair back after trying them on and discovering that they had no arch support and aren't particularly flexible. I could see how they'd be great for standing in for a job that requires one to be on one's feet, but for running? Nope.
The Only Running Shoe I Buy! By Construction Girl from Castle Rock, CO on 08/20/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Excellent stability, Good Traction Best Uses: Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my third pair of these running shoes and they are the only brand and style I will buy. I bought my first pair years ago per the recommendation of a specialty shoe store when I was training for a marathon. They replaced a brand new pair of expensive Nike running shoes (recommended by a different specialty running store) that I had bought two months earlier. The Nike shoes did not provide anywhere near the support and stability that these shoes have. I was having issues with my arches, pronating, and getting bruised toenails. That all went away with these shoes. I do buy these shoes a full size larger than my normal everyday shoe size because that is the fit I need in a running shoe. I love these shoes and can't say enough good things about them.
