By Brikel from Yakima, Wa. on 02/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: "The Columbia Sportwear pants are very comfortable. I wear them to work where I do a lot of lifting and bending. They have several pockets with features that are great for hiking pants, such as a loop built into the left pocket for keys. However, these pants are cotton, so they would be good for fair weather hiking only. I would still recommend them for everyday use or casual wear".

By santro from mays landing, nj on 01/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The first pair were way too small so I bought the next size and they are perfect. I wore these on a recent trip. Casual, nice enough for dinner and great for walking and hiking. I like the leg pocket.
Good, comfortable, pants. By panch from utah on 01/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought two pair of these pants and they are very comfortable, sturdy, and easy to launder. For information purposes a few things...
"Sort of" cons: They have a horizontal weave instead of vertical like most pants. Looks a bit unusual to some I would suppose. There is no rear pocket on the left side. The velcro flap pocket on the right leg would be good for whatever you needed the left rear pocket for. I normally wear a 36 waist and even though the L size said up to 39"...I would say that the max must be about 37, IMO. They fit me well, but if your waist is over 37 they might be tight...at least from the two pair I bought.
Pros: Sierra Trading Post has these pants priced at a virtual steal. The front pockets are very deep and mesh....which I like very much. Double panels on the inside of the pants help with comfortable fit. Very nice material weave...soft but tough. Extremely well stitched. The two pair I bought are made in India. I would buy these again if/when I need walker/hiker/camper type trousers.
They sure do the job I expected.
