At least as durable as my old carhartt's, if not more so, but with a more sophisticated look and a better fit around the legs (i.e., not too baggy). I'd buy them again.

I would recommend going up a waist size from what you normally wear. This allows for a roomier fit in the waist and upper thigh. I wear a 36 waist in jeans and most shorts, but had to return the 36 and roll with a 38. Lots of room now. The length is pretty much on, a 34 for me works and doesn't drag. I wear Carhartt's and LLBean's versions of these pants and they are all pretty comparable. I have had trouble in the past with [...] 2nds especially the fits [...] but I think one size up will work for most people.
