Durable, good capacity, not perfect By anonymous from New York State on 07/13/2008 Pros: Good Capacity, High Quality Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very durable bag, and it was a worthwhile purchase. I have two complaints. The first is that it does not have skid bars -- those pieces of plastic or metal that run up the side of the bag and protect the bag when you are dragging it up stairs. My Travelpro had those, and I think the protected the bag itself. I also don't like that the side pocket isn't big enough to fit a notebook down the side, and isn't really flexible -- the fabric is stiff enough that I can't get things in and out easily. The fabric is very durable, however, the bag is well-constructed, and the handle works well. The bag stands at a bit of a tilt, which struck me as odd at first, but it doesn't tip over. I am glad I got it at Sierra Trading Post prices; if it were full-price, I'd look for something a little different.
solid, smart product. well made. By terrasini from CA on 06/19/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Good color, High Quality, Wheels seem durable Cons: Smaller than expected Best Uses: For smart 'packers', Long Vacations, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: am now quite a fan of Victorianox products. just returned from 4 wks in europe, will return next year, and decided to also purchase a suitcase of VN since i enjoyed the functionality/clever design of the beautycase&weekender that I took this time. the 22" wheeler was a bit smaller/compacter than I had expected, but it will do fine. I will just pack even less, which helps w/ all these new travel restrictions within europe on weight etc. will retire all my old travel gear and only use victorianox. The removable pouches are a good bonus. Every inch seems well used. quite happy w/ the VN purchases.

By Sqaure89 from Columbus, OH on 04/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable handle, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality, Lightweight, Superb warranty Cons: Doesn't expand, Opens suitcase-style Describe Yourself: Career, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an innovative carry-on bag. It's from the Werks Traveler 2.0 line, which means it carries Victorinox's "Carry With Confidence" guaranty. Unlike most of Victorniox's upright bags, this "Cargo" bag opens about 2/3rds of the way down the case, much like an ordinary suitcase. It has a packing divider, so the top part of the shell is still usable, though packing it is different from packing most similar bags. Also unlike most of the rest of Victorinox's line, it's NOT expandable. The rotating handle does indeed make the bag MUCH more comfortable to pull than ordinary handles, as Victorinox advertises. I like this bag because it's a bit lighter than most other upright rollers, and it's seems to have a little more space than most, perhaps because of the handle design. There's less visible hard plastic on this bag than on most of its competitors, but the warranty inspires great confidence in its durability.

wheels nicely through the house By elaine from western, ny on 04/07/2008 Pros: Good Capacity, High Quality Bottom Line: Comments: I've only experience rolling it through the house but it seems well made and well designed. It's hard to evaluate before it has to be ground through the baggage handling system but I have high hopes

By Heidi from Wyoming on 03/04/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Family Trips, Long Vacations, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased the 20", 22", and 24" rolling uprights in this Werks 2.0 series (as well as the cosmetic case) approximately two weeks ago and am very pleased. *Product:-excellent carrying capacity (an amazing number of cubic inches/bag without making the luggage cumbersome, since the depth of the bag seems to be what adds the space).-high denier nylon.-Victorinox warranty against common carrier abuse.-large, recessed wheels.-main compartment nicely organized with removable packing cubes, allowing flexibility according to needs.-high quality, durability, classic look.-semi-soft bags with definite structure and sturdy framework.[...] I spent hours researching luggage after a previous supposedly high-quality set was left unusable after only roughly 20 international and domestic flying trips. I would never again purchase anything softer than solid, semi-soft luggage. This set (and Victorinox in general) was highly recommended by both purchasers and luggage experts. Although there are complaints about zipper pulls, etc., Victorinox makes a point of stating that these items can be easily replaced. After its first checked-luggage flight (which included being lost by the airline), my bag looks almost like new. I anticipate no problems and feel that the quality is worth the price.
