Comments: My teenage daughters loved this bag for school. Lightweight and the front pocket with the organised sections make it easy to find cellphone, keys, bus tickets etc. Much more stylish and practical than a backpack.

Cons:
Could be a bit larger
Best Uses:

Pros - Many! I commute to work on motorcycle and am on the move once I get there. This bag is just what I was looking for! The design is well thought out, pockets in the right places, no wasted space. I like the wider shoulder strap because it distributes the weight better and doesn't slip. The stitching and shoulder strap hardware is solid and classy, disconnects easily when necessary. The magnetic flap is just secure enough to keep closed and not too difficult to easily access the inside. The water bottle pocket on the side is nice but is for a normal 20 oz bottle, not a squeeze bottle you take to the gym. A nice feature and it zips flush to the side of the bag when not needed.
Cons - few... it could indeed be just an inch wider. A legal pad "just" wedges into the width of the bag. You have to have the pad square with the opening to get it in and out... needs just a few more millimeters of wiggle room for easier access of such items. Not really sure why the handle on top is set off-center. Not conducive to carrying like a briefcase and gets in the way of the back storage pouch. I do use it to support the weight of the bag while I sling the shoulder strap over my head. Not a big deal.. but if I were going to redesign this bag, I would rethink that feature.
Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase! Great looking bag at a great price by a great company that backs their product. I have always been happy with my travel gear from Victorinox. The same day my bag arrived, my housemate ordered one because she wanted mine!!

Comments: Before I ordered, I was concerned with the vertical orientation of the bag. I wasn't sure that would work out. However, after having used the bag for a week, I really like it. It stands up straight when you set it down on the ground; normal soft-sided briefcases slump over. I also like the magnets on the flap. They hold the flap closed, but make it VERY easy to open the flap. The only downside is that you cannot carry the bag comfortably using the grab handle, because the handle is off-center of the vertical axis. You have to carry the bag using the shoulder strap; the grab handle is really just for grabbing. So you can't carry the bag like a briefcase. But hey ... it's a messenger bag, after all.

Comments: This bag is great for carrying on planes. It has good capacity, is rugged, and isn't heavy. I particularly like the magnetic clasp on the outer flap -- a nice touch. It's ballistic nylon, so it won't wear out -- and is very water resistant!
