By outside girl from VA on 11/27/2008 Pros: Durable, Less Mess, Safe, Works Well Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A handy little step for your pet if you have a trailer hitch on your vehicle. I can pick up my 70 pound dog, but don't always want the muck and fir on my clothes, so this helps. My girlfriend also bought one b/c she is pregnant and cannot lift >20 pounds. The 80% off at Sierra is a steal!

Size of product parts were not meshed. By jasper from Arvada CO on 11/24/2008 Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The receiver part was too long to fit in the provided bag. I simple cut the (aluminum) part off by 2" to make it fit. This should not in any way affect the strength of the device but bottom line is that this should not have been this way!!
By one4outdoorfun from Paris, KY on 11/20/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I gave one as a gift to a mastiff owner, to help get him loaded - YOU CANNOT use it with a tailgate attached, it is strong and has a good tread/traction, pin and travel bag are nice extras. They say Shaq will use the step and it is strong enough to hold him.
By Savy Shpooer from Mpls MN on 11/19/2008 Pros: Durable, Safe, Works Well Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I basically bought this for my Dad who is getting older and having a hard time with climbing in and out of the back of his truck bed or camper. The cargo step exceeds what I was expecting! It has a nice wide surface, it's good and very sturdy, the griptape is very effective to help aid Dad from accidental falls, it is extreamily easy to put on and an all over wonderful deal. The travel bag is nice to keep it clean and stores easily behind the seat in his truck. I think this will get many years of use.

By grvj from Temple City on 11/10/2008 Pros: Durable, Safe, Works Well Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Platform is sturdy and easy to use as inserting any trailer hitch device. Dogs use it right off as a step so works as advertised.
Probably better to use when can be left on while driving from field to field rather than casual use for local trips which requires fit and removal.
