Too early to tell if it will wear well. Going by appearances only it SHOULD wear well. Sole is a little clunky but that adds to the comfort...so it's a tradeoff. Had purchased them to wear long distance motorcycling but it's too early to tell if this will be possible because of the sole issue.

Most catalogue stores only carry the extra widths through size 13. These fit well right out of the box.
