By Timberwolf from Morganville, KS on 01/27/2009 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these boots on a daily basis. I am on my feet all the time and my time alternates between indoor and outdoor. I find them a little too hot for sustained indoor use. Am anxious to try them in the snow.

Not quite what I expected By JAG from New York City, NY on 12/22/2008 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I thought I would be better protected in the snow and slush but water goes right into shoe through tongue which I found defeated it's purpouse and therefore find myself wearing soaked shoes on the inside in the cold .Not very good thing.
By Mel the Carpenter from Wisconsin on 12/18/2008 Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Heavy, Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Got these in my regular size, 10.5 WW. Right out of the box they were too stiff, horribly hard to get on. Need a boot pull in the back of the boot!! Once on they felt like they may work. Wore them the next day for a 12-hour day and they were the WORST. My feet hurt so bad, can't hardly walk. Hot spot/blister on the side of my heel, arch feels like it fell, toe box not big enough. I could go on and on, but why bother. These are going back. Others have commented on how stiff and uncomfy these are but I figured I'd give them a try. Please, heed the warnings, save your time, your money, and your feet... get something else!

By TomJ from North Texas on 12/03/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stylish, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Motorcycling, Work Describe Yourself: Active, Comfort-oriented, Outdoor type, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked the sound of these boots when I first spotted them at Sierra Trading Post's website and read the description. The looks were good, too. I bought them mainly for a motorcycling boot because I also like to hike around when I get someplace on the bike and many motorcycle-specific boots are not all that great for walking around in. I found these boots to be extremely comfortable from the first time I put them on. So much so, that I now find myself wearing them for all-purpose footwear, too. I'm a commercial/industrial photographer and sometimes that means standing all day on concrete floors shooting products, architecture, etc. These boots not only offer great foot protection, but are comfortable for standing all day in. On top of that, my feet generally get hot easily. These boots seem to breathe enough so that my feet stay at a comfortable temperature. That's a huge plus for me. They have sufficient interior volume to work well with both light and heavier weight socks, yet the boot size seemed very accurate to my size 13 feet. I have not tested the water resistant abilities of the boots as yet, but they do appear as though they would do well in that capacity also. All in all, I think these are not only some of the best boots you can find for the money, I think these are some of the best boots you can find, period! Depending on your wants and needs, of course. Quality and craftsmanship is first rate. They are as comfortable as the best hiking boots I own. I could even see using these as hiking boots. I am impressed!
