By Non from San Diego,CA on 11/17/2008 Cons: Needs a loop to pull on, Snug fit, Tounge is too short Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Has good cushioning and so far has held up to abrasion. Really needs a loop to help pull them on, plus the laces ride up over the top of the tongue.
Excellent value for a great boot By Motorcycle Fred from Central Oregon on 11/12/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these boots to ride my motorcycle. I have ridden about 5 thousand miles this summer while wearing these boots in anywhere from 110 degree sweltering heat to riding 10 hours in a non-stop rainstorm. These boots performed perfectly in every occasion.
Finally, a wide enough hiking boot! By Brian "Toes" from Sioux Falls, SD on 11/12/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I normally have to buy shoes that are much longer than my foot to accomidate my wide foot. Right out of the box these boots fit the width of my foot. The top (around the ankle) was a little stiff, but after a short amount of walking and taller socks I no longer had a problem.
I will definately buy Dunham shoes and boots again.
By Fatfoot Fred from Salt Lake City, Ut. on 11/11/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Light weight, Stable Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Very Narrow Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Wet Weather, Work wear Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought boots for wet/cold work boots. Nice weatherproofing, lightweight, easy lacing product. Very narrow. I ordered wide and still not wide enough for an E width foot. Haven't worn alot yet, hope they will break in alright. did cause blisters after first 10 hour break-in use.
By Mr.Fix It All from Cincinnati, OH on 11/10/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stain Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wearing a size 16 EEEE makes it very difficult to find boots. To find boots that fit right and are comfortable is rare, but I have found them in this boot.
By tinyB from St Paul, MN on 11/09/2008 Pros: Durable, Stable, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Plugger Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been wearing these boots for one month now. They were comfortable from the first moment I put them on. I generally wear a size 13, but I ordered a size 14 because of some of the other comments abouts these boots being sized small. I don't think they are sized small at all. I'm sure a size 13 would have fit fine, but with thick winter socks the size 14 fits fine too.
I would buy these boots again By Ductman from Springfield, OR on 11/08/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible after broken in, Stable, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: A little stiff at first Best Uses: Good work boots, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Hard worker Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It took about a week to break these in, after that they are extremely comfortable. I did order them a half size larger than my normal size after noticing that several people reported the shoes feeling about a half size too large. I am extremely hard on shoes and I do wear these to work every day and they are great for climbing around on and under houses and trudging through muck. A second pair to alternate with would be a good idea if you are hard on your work shoes.
FIND THEM COMFY, LIGHT AND READY TO SERV By BOB KUCERA from CHICAGO on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: SO FAR SO GOOD. JUST GOT THEM. HAVE YET TO WEAR OUTDOORS.
CALL ME BACK!
By Montesa_VR from Cambridge, MN on 11/07/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned these boots for three reasons. First, the high collars are so stiff I was afraid they would bruise my lower legs. Second, I have narrow heels and these boots just don't have good heel grip for my foot shape (The Asolo FN95 fits much better). And third, my feet are ultra-sensitive to some synthetic fabrics, and the lining on these boots was like poison ivy to me.
They might work great for someone else.
