I ususally wear a men's to get teh width
The women's D is taking acare of business for me
these shoes run VERY narrow! By Laura from Ithaca, NY on 07/28/2009 Describe Yourself: Environmentalist, Professional Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've ordered many Dunham women's shoes, and since I have moderately wide feet (C width) I ordered these in a wide. Most Dunham wides are too wide for my feet, but these were MUCH too narrow--maybe they were mismarked AAAs ??? They must be narrows, since I often wear a B width just fine. They were hideously uncomfortable with parts jabbing all over my feet. They looked nice, though.
I should have paid more attention By Fussy feet from Vermont on 07/07/2009 Cons: Not Flexible, Uncomfortable Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted to like them, but they really were too small, too tight. I should have paid more attention to the other user reviews and ordered a size larger, but the size larger was not available. Sent them back, reluctantly.
By NSinCA from n ca on 07/05/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i have bought dunhams before becasue they come in a wide size. i really like the shoe, i got half size bigger than usual and found that it is a half size too big, but that is taken care of with thicker socks. the toungue was also extrememly painful to me,too. weird. couldnt figure out why. for the price i decided to keep them anyway. after wearing them all day doing yard work, they fit and feel just fine.
By Oregon Hiker from Baker City, Oregon on 07/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Lightweight Cons: Not Flexible, Slip Off Describe Yourself: Outdoorsy Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable, but the tongue rubs because it folds upon itself, created friction. I just cut out a triangle to get rid of the problem, but it seems like a design issue. I think they will take a little breaking-in. Good shoe for the price, though!
By NSinCA from n.ca on 06/26/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: just got these. i bought them in 10d beacuse i wear that size in a hiking boot. they seem about 1/2 size too big. the construction and look is fine, but as others have mentioned the "tongue" is a bit painful. i am wearing them in the house to see if they will get more comfy...for the price i paid, i probably will keep them for a back up pair...

By The dog walker. from Castle Rock, Colorado on 05/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy On/Off, Great Traction, Lightweight, Multi-Use, Secure Fit Describe Yourself: Daily walker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I walk 4 miles daily with my dogs. This shoe is sturdy, not too heavy, has great traction, and stands up to the punishment in any weather.
It is a bit stiff and needs some breaking in before wearing on long hikes. I would buy this product again.
