It is good to find a high quality women's shoe in this size-it is very hard to find without paying a high price for them. I am looking forward to using these at camp and hiking, as well as for normal outdoor activities, especially if it is a bit wet outside.

these are great i am buying 3 more of them. I have little heel or hip pain and I've been wearing them only 2 days. More support than a regular sneaker for those who use orthotics. Fits just like new balance. But at half the price.

Comments:
I bought these for hiking among the Mayan ruins.... I walked on them on concrete for 6 hours on the first day - and I am happy to report - no blisters!!! They aren't the greatest for concrete-walking. My feet felt like giant clodhoppers. I am sure they will be perfect for crawling around the ruins. Very good foot support shoes. These are amazingly light little boots for all the sturdiness.
