Sportif makes a really nice travel shirt By rxflyfisher from Maryland, USA on 06/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Nice soft feel, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, fishing, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I saw the reviews that said they found this shirt too big and too tall, but many others said the size was just right. I took a chance and got one of the XL marked L. It hangs on me so I will be returning it for credit. Unfortunately, not any of my color remaining to try again. I would try again if the color was available. It is a really nice shirt - if it only was sized right.
By Hardycreek1 from Montana on 06/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Light weight, cool, and dies quickly. I spilled coffee on it, washed it in a sink, and a couple of hours later it was good to go.
By Woodchuck from Arcadia, RI on 06/15/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Great value, Lightweight, Packs small Cons: Ugly half-pocket on chest Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nobody's gonna see me in this shirt out on the trail, so I like it just fine. It keeps the sun and bugs off, it's breathable and fast drying, and it was much less expensive than the others, which is why I bought it in the first place. It packs nice and small. It makes me look like Ernest Hemingway. I'd recommend it to a hiker, but not to the fashion-conscious.

It was light and soaked up the sweat just like advertised.

By Snowshoe John from Saint Hilaire, MN on 06/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my second Sportif Kilimanjaro Nylon Shirt. I purchased one last year. The quality of this year's is not the same. Much more fraying along the edges. After a few washes, and trimming frays, the shirt is OK for outdoor wear.
Ok for trail wear but around town? No By Bigfoot from Long Island on 05/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a light long sleeve shirt for sun protection on a long trek at high elevation, where UV rays are more intense. This garment will do the job but while not really too big, it is not a great fit - a bit on the large size and the tailoring is minimal. Still it is acceptable in appearance and fully adequate for its main purpose. A nifty feature is a velcro tab located inside the sleeve that is designed to hold your rolled up sleeve in place.
