I bought these for snowshoeing and so far I am very pleased with them. Opening the top allows me to put the binding on and if I get too warm it allows my hand to cool.

These are great for hunting. The flap top of the mittens also allows for a hand warmer to be placed inside. Kept my hands warm in the deer stand with 13 degree windchill.

I live in Colorado and mainly wear these gloves to walk my dog. The mittens keep my hands very warm and the easy access fingers allow me to put her on and off the leash without my hands getting cold. I'll be sure to bring these along for the next hunting season.

Good Mittens
By Mom of SevenVerified Reviewer from Arlington, Oregon on 01/06/2009
Pros:
Dries Easily, Warm
Best Uses:
Casual Wear
Describe Yourself:

Gear Usage:
Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These mittens are warm and the finger access is very handy. They are a little big but I have small hands. The down side is that the thumb is so long that it gets in the way, even for someone with average hands, it still seems unusually long.
