They are warm and snug. I use them when I go to the range.

Opening the top allows me to put the binding on and if I get too warm it allows my hand to cool.

The mittens keep my hands very warm and the easy access fingers allow me to put her on and off the leash without my hands getting cold. I'll be sure to bring these along for the next hunting season.

They are a little big but I have small hands. The down side is that the thumb is so long that it gets in the way, even for someone with average hands, it still seems unusually long.
