I find comfort to of great importance, yet stability on rough terrain to be a little less of a value. They are more of a pavement shoe designed for straight ahead running.

It has been a wonderful shoe for my aging body. Very stable and comfortable.

Whichever works best becomes his training shoe. The other one is for daily use. This shoe is well padded, not too heavy, and as stable as advertised. It's a good choice to prevent overpronation in a normal foot.
