By Sid the Somewhat Fast from Northeast Ohio on 08/20/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nicely made shoe, good footbed, but not as supportive at the instep as the Asics they replaced. If you have low arches, try a pair.

Extremely comfortable, light, and they came in a wide width for my fat feet.
Roomy, cushioned & flexible By Steve from GA from Decatur, GA on 08/11/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Padding Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Saucony makes shoes that actually conform to the shape of your foot, not vice versa as most other shoemakers do. Plenty of toe room. Comfortable "ride"; flexible; high quality materials inside and out. A former 25 mile per week jogger (with an occasional half marathon and marathon thrown in), I still jog and walk outside quite a bit, plus use the elliptical machine and treadmill in the gym. This shoe is excellent, but not for pronators (I'm a supinator). I ordered a 2nd pair after 2 runs in the 1st pair.

I buy only Saucony and the Rides are great for training runs 5-11 miles. Not quite as plush as the Triumph 5.

By SpacemanSpiff from Denver, CO on 07/15/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I like Saucony running shoes for the most. I usually wear an 11, but my real size is 10.5 wide. So I ordered the 10.5 wide. It was really small. My little toe was pushing out against the fabric of the shoe, and almost overhanging the sole. So I think this "wide" is not really so wide. Stick with your usual compromise w/rpct to shoe size if you have wide feet. These shoes are heading back to STP as you read this...
