Too good to keep in production By Scoot from Denver, CO on 08/12/2008 Best Uses: Endurance Training, Trails, Wet Conditions, Winter Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've done everything from adventure races to 100 mile weeks backpacking in the Sierras in these. Saucony has made the brilliant decision to discontinue, and their replacements are not as sturdy. I have used lots of Salomon raid series shoes, and like these much better. Good for wider feet and they have some decent arch support.

By Busta from Masterton, New Zealand on 07/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Padding Best Uses: Endurance Training, Strength Training, Trails, Wet Conditions, Winter Conditions Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've tried a lot of shoes over the years but these are the best I've found for serious off roading. Im on my 5th pair & will continue to buy this brand as long as I can get them. I am race director of the Jumbo Holdsworth Trail Race in the Tararua Ranges in New Zealand, these mountains are tough and the Omni 5 handle them just fine.
