Athletic shoe sizing problem-one size sm By Swedetown skiier from Calumet MI on 11/07/2008 Cons: Need to order size large, Toe box too narrow Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: ordered usual size but couldn't wear because toe box cramped toes so severely that I couldn't use.Quality seemed good otherwise.Shoes made in China, especially athletic shoes, tend to run small.Makes deciding on shoe size for ordering on internet confusing.
Too good to keep in production By Scoot from Denver, CO on 08/12/2008 Best Uses: Endurance Training, Trails, Wet Conditions, Winter Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've done everything from adventure races to 100 mile weeks backpacking in the Sierras in these. Saucony has made the brilliant decision to discontinue, and their replacements are not as sturdy. I have used lots of Salomon raid series shoes, and like these much better. Good for wider feet and they have some decent arch support.
