By N.L. from Napa, CA on 08/28/2008 Describe Yourself: Classic Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear a medium so the 8-10 fit was o.k.
The on-line photo shows uniform gradation of color. The sweater I received had a variety of green variations that did not align with the opposite sleeve or opposite front side or back with front. The colors are muted. The sweater is of a bulky knit look although the loose knit would be for milder winter weather. The collar was overpowering on me and slightly hairy on the edges, almost looked like some mohair might be in the yarn. The sweater itself doesn't look hairy. I would definitely have to wear a long sleeved turtleneck underneath as it is slightly itchy. From the photo I expected a dressier looking sweater. I would say this sweater would be great for wear in very casual situations.
By disappointed shopper from Sunnyvale, CA on 08/03/2008 Cons: Almost like tie-dyed, Itchy Fabric Describe Yourself: Career, Casual Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: it's hard to tell from the web picture unless you look really closely, but the sweater is dyed so that the color is uneven, with huge gradations on the arms and color. it's almost like a gradual tie-dye. this makes the sweater look much more casual than the front styling might suggest at a glance--definitely not appropriate for work unless you can pull off a cowgirl look. The fabric is slightly itchy but tolerable. I'm a petite, and yet the sleeves weren't too intolerably long. They may be too short for some people.
