Looks good and fits well. By Kate from Idaho on 02/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Doesn't wrinkle when wash, High-Quality Material and Stitching Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am travelling to China in late winter and wanted loose pants with pockets that travel well and can fit a baselayer. They are very long. I am 5'2 and will have to hem them about 1 1/2 inches.
By lover of creation from CO on 01/30/2009 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Seem like good quality pants, with sturdy material and good craftsmanship. They simply were a bad fit for me. I'm 5'8", typically size 6 or 8 with a smaller waist and larger hips. Beware if you have similar proportions - the fit of these pants didn't work for me.
By Outdoor Girl from Bayfield, CO. on 01/27/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these pants for my outdoor adventures and was disappointed in the overall fit. They are not low-rise waist. They are high-waisted and fit on my waist. I like low-rise pants that fit below my waist on my hips. My mom, however, loved these pants and I gave them to her. They look good on her! They seem like good material for the outside!
By stacr from carmel, ny on 01/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great fitting pants.
They are a little higher waisted than I would have liked, but they fit great.
By Kayak and Climb from Trapped in the Midwest on 01/08/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The fit on this pants was awful! The legs were way too wide, like clown pants. They were huge from the very top of the thigh portion clear to the bottom. Snaping them didn't help at all just made them look even baggier. They were constructed well but they could have used a few yards less material!
By Lala from Colorado on 12/22/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these lots. They are going to Iceland, with long undies.
By Hiking Addict from Montclair, NJ on 12/14/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was hiking in Patagonia for two weeks in late Nov and these pants were superior performers. fitted well, loose enough to fit a base layer underneath, didn't rip on rocks or thorns, thick enough material to be comfortable in high winds but breathable enough to be comfortable when we went further north into warmer territory. horizontal pockets in front fit my camera perfectly, and back-button pockets worked well to keep things where they should be. side leg zipper pocket a bit small but large enough for keys & credit cards. i am buying two more pairs!
Pants that actually fit !!! By AntiOutdoorGirl from Northern New Jersey on 12/05/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband and I like to go out hiking/Geocaching a couple times a month. These are the 1st pair of pants that actually fit. They are loose enough to get a 2nd layer under them. I love them.
By Scratch from Centralia,WA on 11/21/2008 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear 31"-32" inseam. These were about 2 inches too long, unattractive style, and just not comfortable. I purchased 2 pairs of these pants. One was a size 8 (I'm a solid size 8); the other was either a 6 or 10. Can't remember the direction another reviewer suggested going to ensure a good fit. Either way, they both basically fit the same. I would have kept one pair just for working in the yard but they just didn't feel right nor were they inexpensive enough to justify buying them for yardwork!
