By Hiking Girl from Dixie on 11/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was pleased that these fit perfectly without binding. The material was heavy enough for a late-fall hike, but not too heavy to be hot. They have a flattering cut. I would have liked another snap on the ankles to further tighten up the ankles around my boots...but no biggie. I really like these pants!

By limeyfruit from CA on 07/15/2008 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching, Packable Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I only note that these are too long, because I am *not*. Most things on me are long. These are sturdy & just what I was looking for--unobtrusive, casual & no fear of too-low rise while setting up the tent or stowing luggage.
fabulous....but slightly ugly :) By shannon the water and mud queen from iowa city, iowa on 06/23/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these pants. I work for the USGS and volunteer with the National Park Service,so I'm in and out of water and mud a lot. I love that these pants are very light weight and keep me cool, but feel very sturdy. They're incredibly stain resistant, too, which is great because my knees and rear are usually covered in grass stains and mud from sliding into creeks. I actually own 4 pairs of them (two khaki, two carbon), but my favorite are the khaki. Both colors are rather ugly (I literally refer to them as my 'ugly pants'), but they're functionality is so great that I ignore their looks. Other than the ugly factor, the only other thing I would change would be to add another pocket or two to the legs, but that's just because I never have enough hands.
All in all, I really do LOVE these pants.
