Finally! A boot that fits! By canyon elf from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts on 12/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Clean, Stable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Bargain shopper, Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good winter dress boot and can stand up to NE weather (ah...qualifier...in bad storms, I always use my all weather hiking boots). The horizontal detailing adds interest. Well made! I have muscular calf muscles (former elite runner) and this is one of the few pairs of high boots I can fit into without compromising circulation! I can wear these with skirts at work. They are waterproofed, but I will continue to follow product suggestions re: care (seems easy and basic enough).
By Purple-A-Holic from Atlanta, Georgia on 12/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stable, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Conservative, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these boots in the black. When I am not at work (in the corporate world) my favorite kick around weekend style is jeans and boots. These have a dressier edge to them, even though they are a wedge heel and they remind me of a riding boot without the low heel that I am not so crazy about. I love to wear heels. I have all hard wood floors throughout our house. If I were to wear slippers around on the weekend, my back would become fatigued. Wearing my hard heeled boots around the house would damage my floors. These are a nice alternative, comfy like a slipper, but supportive and no clunky noises or damage to our floors. I live in Georgia now, but grew up in Buffalo, NY (snow capital). I would have to say with a pair of warms socks, these would have kept my feet warm, but I would have had to wipe them down when I came in the house because all the road salt would have chewed them up. They also have a good grippy bottom, so probably you would not slip on ice.
By bargain hunter from KY on 12/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are very comfort but the left boot seems a little more narrow than the right and is a little tighter around the ankle; otherwise, I found it to be true to size. I have not decided whether to send them back or not. I love the wedge heel, wasn't sure I would. The leather is nice. Overall, this is a nicer boot than I thought it would be and I think they look nicer than the picture. This is a great bargin!!

If you are a half size go down not up because they will stretch a little.
By T in Bodega from Bodega on 11/20/2008 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: So excited to get my new boots..only to find that my very normal size 8 foot was swimming in these boots. I quickly reordered a size down. They didn't come in half sizes...I ordered down a size and they are (no surprise!) too small!! [...]
Well-made and comfortable By Looking for Good Boots from Silver Spring, MD on 11/15/2008 Pros: Classic Style, Comfortable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are very versatile - they go well with skirts, dresses, pants and jeans. I would purchase this item again. By Patricia from Reston, Va. on 11/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I only purchase boots made in Canada since my experience indicates the use of shearling on the inside; a must for me. This boot features a non slip sole and the entry/exit is easy. I haven't experienced a bitterly cold day but have no doubts that this boot would keep my feet warm. I'm pleased to find this quality merchandise on the Sierra website.
By Karine from Seattle on 11/11/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These were too small and were lined for winter wear. They were very narrow and I had to return them. Also I think the leather isn't as nice as pictured, but for the price not bad!
