I think a 7 1/2 would have served me better than the 8, but unfortunately it only comes in whole sizes. Otherwise, this boot went on very easy and it is lined in a thin microfleece -- it was very cozy and and comfortable for a cowboy boot, but I really needed a half size smaller. Too bad!

I wish the heel were a little higher for a more flattering line. When I first put them on they felt too narrow, but they seem to be molding to my foot. As usual, boots tend to be comfortable, and my much younger trendier daughter tells me she likes them, a good thing.

If I liked the boots, I would have exchanged them to size 8. But the leather is so stiff and so dull looking, I would be embarassed to wear them on public. I would not have kept these boots even if they were a free gift!
