By Fly Fisher from Montana on 10/24/2009 Pros: Accurate Casting, Good Tip Action Best Uses: Fly Fishing, River Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great rod, loads well with only 15 feet of line out. I was able to cast accurately with a 15 foot leader at 60+ feet. Rod had a great feel a short acceleration and this rod has a ton of power to throw line. I would recommend this for anyone that is looking to upgrade to a high quality rod at an affordable price.

I used it for the past 3 days while fly fishing on the Rio Grande River. I cast it hundreds of times while drift boat fishing under a variety of conditions (wind, distance, brush). I really liked it. Frankly, I could tell little difference (both are fast action) from my more expensive Sage fly rod. Given the price, it is a fine value.
