By Sluggo from Boston on 03/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have not used them outside house. I think they are going to be fine. They are regarded, generally, as very good shoes. However, some shoes are obviously fit wonderfully from moment one and these did not fill me with instant joy. The problem may be that I am too fussy. I can't pull the trigger and go outdoors. Bear in mind not to take my doubts too much to heart. A great buy.

These shoes are versatile, fit my foot snugly and wear well. All my Sauconies have been fantastic shoes......
Consistently good value for money By Steve from River Falls, Wis. on 02/26/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Snug, Stable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a 8-10 mile/week, 28-year runner and usually get about nine months out of a pair of Saucony Jazz. It's the only brand of shoe I ever buy! Versatile, not-too-flash footware that provides great cushion and support for this aging Boomer. The built-in heel cup helps with ankle stability at any angle.
Billy Holiday & Miles Davis rejoice By Tortoise racer from Ames on 01/30/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Cons: A little short in length Best Uses: Pavement, Track, Trails Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the shoes. I have a foot with high arches, wider forefront and narrower heel. Arch support is decent but these shoes were slightly short even before I put the after market insoles in.
If your foot is like mine, I'd suggest sizing up at least a half-size. As my normal size is 13 and there being no 13.5's, I had to go to a 14-- but I am glad I did. They are now excellent and hopefully this shoe will be sold for a long time.
I would buy this product again. By Bob the Runner from Rio Rancho, NM on 01/20/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Flexible Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I will use as a running shoe but mostly on my off days walking my Yellow and Black Labs.
By stkr from Los Angeles on 01/19/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these for daily walks. The support and comfort are great. I think the soles will probably wear fast since I walk on pavement. Nevertheless these are probably the most comfortable pair I ever owned.

light weight, good cushioning & cheap By none from Phil, PA on 12/09/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Older, long-time runner who prefers lite weight and cushioning, and was looking for a good value. My feet are finicky, so I was pleased when these fit well, were relatively lite, and offered good cushioning. An every-day, all weather runner
solid no frills shoe for runnning By random bear from Connecticut on 12/05/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The Jazz 11 is a basic, no frills, good for running regularly shoe. It doesn't coddle your feet like more up-to-date designs, but it does a nice job of absorbing shock and it's a stable shoe for the neutral strider. Don't expect to run faster in these shoes, but longer is definitely in the works.
