By sierra friend from western PA on 01/19/2010 Pros: Attractive Design, Stylish Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This was neither a sweater nor a jacket. There was too much of it to be a sweater, and it was much too light to be much of a jacket. The embroidery was pretty, and it was stylish, but it didn't work for me. So I returned it. Sorry.
Stunning Jacket - a favorite! By Suse from San Francisco, CA on 11/29/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel, Work Meetings Describe Yourself: Classic, High-end shopper, Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this jacket -- it was my holiday gift to myself, and I try to splurge each year on something I'll "always remember" as a special gift and this fit the bill. I like it unlined as it's not bulky at all and you obviously want to add a turtle neck, blouse/vest under, so it fits nicely without being overheated. The detail is just so beautiful and the faux fur is very understated like I like. The sleeves were too long but I just hemmed them one length which still shows the fur detail and actually looks a bit more understated/less distracting since it tones down this embellishment. I love that this jacket works with jeans, a dressy skirt/slacks ... it's just a great find and the price is amazing for Covelo, which makes things so nicely. I also found the sizing to be just right.
By Creatively determined from Portland, Oregon on 10/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Stylish, Versatile Cons: No pockets unlined itchy, Not Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel, Work Meetings Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really liked the looks of this unique jacket, and Sierra's price made this hard to pass up. When I tried it on, found it to be too itchy to wear, also wanted it to be warmer, and just had to have pockets. I sew, soooo(no pun intended), decided to line it, and add in-seam pockets. Found a wonderful ultra-soft black faux fur for the lining, used a silky lining fabric for the sleeves to avoid too much bulk, and for the side seam pockets as well. Didn't take that much time to do. Extra cost---around $12, and worth it. It's now perfect, can't wait to wear it!

Have been looking all over at CoVelo brand coats and have yet to see one that I didn't love. This one has sleeves a bit long, but I figure it'll just keep me warmer. Thanks, [...], for offering this brand.
By laurie from washington dc on 03/06/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Stylish, Versatile Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this jacket. It's comfortable and can be worn anywhere. Strangely, the buttons fall off. It's such a beautiful jacket, though, that I didn't mind sewing them on before any were lost.
By Wool lover from Burbs of Boston, MA on 02/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Unexpected, Versatile Best Uses: 4 weddings and a funeral, Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel, Work Meetings Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-oriented, Gemini, High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish, Trendy Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's all about Layering. I wear it with a vest underneath, the vest has pockets. I found the Large Perfectly fit (I am full chested and typically go XL). As much as I like the faux lambswool collar and cuffs, they are as well, the cheapest component. But No one but yourself would get that close to critigue. That said, I have worn it several times, and felt comfortable and confident in my presentation to the day. I wasn't going to write as I thought they were all gone. I did pay less, but it is a nice jckt for the price. An easy throw on in the event of a sudden meeting, wake, or just coffee. I Love the Charcoal, teal combo.

This jacket was both dressy and yet casual so I only needed one coat for all occasions and different temperatures.

The design is very stylish and I've worn it several times during the hoilday season already.
By Shonda the Shopper from CT, USA on 12/25/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Stylish Cons: Not Warm, Poor Material Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Practical, Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this coat. I got the red-trimmed one and it has all of my favorite colors. It is very unique and I get lots of compliments on it. I live in New England and I will say it's not an all-winter coat. It's not lined and the wind blows through it. Also, the inside is starting to "pill" and I am afraid the outside will as well. For those reasons I didn't give it a 5-star rating but if I had it to do over I'd definitely buy it again.
