It is not super coarse, but is the roughest cashmere I have ever encountered. I am not sure if we will end up keeping it or not because I buy cashmere for its soft quality.

It is a perfect addition. Just the right weight for any weather, especially the mild winters (and cool summer evenings!) here in Northern California. Even though lightweight, it's very warm. Perfect to dress up an outfit for a night out, and my girlfriend absolutely loves the feel of it -- as do I. Perfect!!!

Don't bother messing with these or any Chinese-made cashmere sweaters. They don't hold up, I've tried just about every brand out there. You get what you pay for, nowhere is that more true than cashmere sweaters.

I ordered two more cashmere Raffi sweaters for him this year in different colors and styles. People are always wanting to touch the fabric and asking where he got it!
