I have two of these sweaters and they are excellent: well made from high quality cashmere.
By JohnnySmooth from boston on 12/26/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: You really can't go wrong with Johnsons of Elgin products - top quality far beyond that of Chinese cashmere and it will last much longer. Have other sweaters by them, unfortunately, this particular cut runs small in arm length - I do have long arms typically wear 34-35"

By fils from Madison on 12/14/2007 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Formal Wear Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Practical Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The item would certainly be a great buy if brand new. But what I receive is worn out a bit, with loose knits near the wrist. I guess it is a sample in the store and many people have tried it on. So it really depends on which particular item you receive. Good luck.
By Stan from Charlotte, NC on 11/28/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Stylish Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I always have to compromise with the fit of sweaters, but the fit on this one was a bit different from the standard M, L. I'm a 44 Short with an athletic build. The 44 fit me perfectly in the sleaves and length (unusual for most sweaters) was a little snug in the chest (what I'm used to when I go to a Medium) and was a little too baggy in the waist (like a standard cut dress shirt.)
But the material is very nice, and it's extremely well made. I expect to keep it.

I ordered a size 40 which I am, and the sweater was tight. I reordered a size 42 and it fits perfectly.
