Light weight warmth with pockets By 50ish-N-Fit from Chico, CA on 01/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Pockets Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for some warm pants to play tennis in cold weather and they had to have pockets to put balls. These are great and not too long-waisted. I might cut the elastic off the ankle and put in a hem, but that's easy to do.
By Jan the Artist from Matthews, NC on 01/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Am really happy with them--the fit is great and they are really warm.
By Beachy from Florida on 01/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, High Quality, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are warm, soft and well made. Perfect for hanging around the house on a cool day as an alternative to sweatpants. Good for layering if you have a loose shell on top. Length is great for petites.
By Joan from Massachusetts and New Hampshire on 01/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Best Uses: Casual Wear, Great for x-c skiing Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Even though these pants are thin, they are wonderfully warm. I wear them around the house on particularly cold, windy days; I wear them outside with nothing under or over them to shovel, walk, x-c ski, play with the dog. They're loose (baggy) so extremely comfortable. They wash up/dry just great. I wish they came in more colors other than black.
very warm for outside use By ratt4ever from Maple, WI on 01/11/2009 Cons: Sits Too High Above Waist Best Uses: Casual Wear, Insulating layer Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for an insulating layer for a canoe trip this May in northern WI but I'm also enjoying wearing them around the house and under windbreakers to walk the dog. For outside use they are warmer than long johns. only con is that if worn resting on the hip they are a bit saggy as though made for men.
Great Product - Grossly Oversized By sporty from West Coast, Florida on 01/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Fabulous pants, way oversized. Sierra Traders received many comments mismarked and returned, a shame as I had to run out to buy a normal size, and I get all my clothes at Sierra Traders.
Warm exercise pants for women 5'6 By Bucks County from Eastern, PA on 12/29/2008 Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Pants will be very warm when the thermostat is low. Comfortable, but several inches too long for someone 5'4". I thought I could make them work, even after reading other comments, and expected tighter elastic around the ankles to keep them in place. Too long, but will keep rather than deal with return.
I would buy this product again and again By Joan from Massachusetts on 12/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Too bad it comes in black only. I own 3 pair of black, but they're very useful. I keep 2 pair in my mountain home for x-c skiing, hiking, etc.
By hiker from Honolulu, HI on 12/21/2008 Cons: Falls Too Low Below The Waist Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked the fleece used for these pants, as it is soft and warm and has held up well to washing so far. However, I didn't like the cut. I found the crotch to be uncomfortably short--what's the point of low-rise fleece?--and the inseam to be overly long, but then I am 5'4". The elastic around the ankles was too loose to hold up the extra length unless I was wearing boots.
Fabric is great, size not accurate By VT Hiker from St. Johnsbury, VT on 12/20/2008 Cons: 28" length incorrect Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The catalog stated the inseam was 28", but these pants are longer than that.
