They feel alot better than sweatpants, and they really do wick away moisture. I live in California so I don't need them as an underlayer but they'd be great.

They are great layering pieces for under ski pants or bibs. Warm, but a step up from sweats when you take off the outer layer. They run a bit big, and I wish they didn't have elastic ankle cuffs, but still, a great winter base layer.

I tried M that was much too short in the crotch plus it sat below the waist in it's style. I wanted to like these pants but I just couldn't.
