By Ms. Loves Polartec from N. CA. where Polartec is the norm on 12/25/2007 Pros: American made, Attractive Design, Does well under jacket, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Excellent for layering, Going Out, Travel, Use Anytime anywhere Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Fussy consumer Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I continue to be amazed that that"real" Polartec (a trade mark of Malden Mills) is actually made from recycled plastic bottles! Talk about environmentally friendly! Have bought several from [...] and love them all. I think the world is mabe even a better place for the Polartec items, given the origins. And one stays very warm. Good for apres ski. Would not be worn as a so-called "fashion statement." because it isn't, even though it is attractive clothing.
Warm and Soft...Polartec rules! By Rocket from Gainesville, FL on 12/20/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I still gets cold in Florida and this is perfect to stay warm, yet not too hot when the sun comes out again!
By CK from West Virginia on 12/19/2007 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Trendy Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a simple fleece vest and thought this fit the bill but was surprised to find that even something as uncomplicated as a fleece vest can be all wrong. It's advertised for men and women but it's built for a man. I got a small and am swimming in it. It drapes far over my shoulders as well, which makes it look ridiculous. It's fine for lounging around the house but I wont be wearing it in public.
By Ron from Columbia, MD on 12/18/2007 Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Wear around the house or as a layer under a jacket.

By Martin from San Francisco, CA on 12/17/2007 Pros: Bright color, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Not a current style, Poor Fit, Shoulders stick out Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative, Wear vests all the time Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The way the shoulders stick out instead of being rounded to the natural roll of the shoulder made these look dated and odd. I compared it to my 8 other vests and all of them had a natural rolled and tapered shoulder.
I returned the items, although I liked the colors (red and yellow) a lot.
By Tony the tiger from Long Island, New York on 12/16/2007 Pros: One sleeve was cut smalle Cons: Incorrect sleeves, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Casual, High-end shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: One sleeve was cut smaller than the other. By Sucker for a good price from near Boston, MA on 12/15/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm, Well-made Cons: Inferior fabric quality Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Layering Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Gifts - business, Gifts - personal Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I suspect this is not real Polartec fleece. There is no Polartec label sewn in, only a label attached via plastic string gun (through a hole cut in the plastic wrap--like an afterthought). The fleece does not feel soft or thick enough to be Polartec. The price was very good. I ordered 10 of these vests for business colleagues (guys who work outdoors) and family members. I do not plan to return them, but feel a little ashamed giving them as gifts.
"Just what it says it is." By Linda/NC from Morganton, NC on 12/14/2007 Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This vest is for the daily wear of a high school student. It offers some warmth when she needs it, but isn't too uncomfortable as the day warms up.
