Great jacket for the price! By Joe Perfect from North Bergen, NJ on 10/13/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work wear Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this jacket for casual wear, and expect to use it when the temperature drops into the 20's. Although it was described as a 2nd, I can't find any flaws at all with this jacket. This is the jacket I'll grab when it gets to cold for my shirt jac.

By Radio man from scranton, PA on 09/07/2009 Pros: Durable, Very good price, Warm, Windproof Cons: Sleeves are too short, Too big for XL Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Outside Work Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It seems like it will be better after it's washed once or twice...to be softer and hopefully to shrink a little. It's good enough for working outdoors but that's about it because it's not stylish...it's just functional.
By Ol' Grump from Missouri City, TX on 09/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Carhartt clothing is always generously sized. I wasn't surprised that it was a bit big on me. I'll keep it. Haven't had weather appropriate for wearing it yet, but I've looked it over and I am very impressed with the quality.
By Working man from Central Kentucky on 09/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: What a great deal!! These jackets sell for $80 plus on other web sites. I bought enough for our service dept. Our uniform color is midnight blue, and it's difficult to find this type of jacket in that color. They do run a large, as I have found with most Carhartt outerwear, so I'd recommend the next smaller size, when ordering.
By slim from rural Alaska on 08/07/2009 Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work out in the weather in rural Alaska - that means cool summer temps, wind and light rain. This coat keeps me warm and comfortable and is tough enough that it can withstand the beating it gets from the welding, grinding and other metal work that I do. Highly recommend it. Also, it has a warmer lining than I expected.

It has all three.

Only thing I don't like is when I sweat the sleeves stick to my arms.
