I am a women's 8-10 and the M in this pant fits perfectly (by the way, there is no fly). They look and feel like thick, warm--very comfortable--sweat pants (with straight legs). They wash and dry very well.

They are very good as sweats to use at home, but won't be used for hiking or biking, due to their generous cut. There's nothing wrong with the product; they just are "tights".

They don't fit as tight as actual tights, but they're not as loose as regular sweats. However, I like the fit because they're loose enough to not restrict my movement, but tight enough to fit well under a shell.

Fleece pants. These are cut right for me and worked well on two trips this summer in the Sierra (11-Day trip mostly camping above 10,000' in August and a 6-Day trip camping at 8-9,000'.) They provided the warmth I want for an insulation layer to wear in the evening after sunset. I usually wear these under a pair of Weather Pants and they are very comfortable. I also wear these in my sleeping bag when I don't use a tent in freezing temps. With the discounts and sales I got these for less than [$]/pair.
