By superiorgem from Duluth,MN on 10/11/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Poorly cut Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this is my 4th pair of these tights. The medium is way larger than last year. There doesn't seem to be a true front or back either which makes for a poor fit. On the plus side, the fabric is nicer than what I bought last year and the edges of the tights are actually finished with a hem.
By Maggie from Milford, MI on 09/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the quality of the tights. They do run on the large size. If you want them to fit like tights, order smaller.
By Just a Little Bit Different from Boston on 09/07/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was excited to receive these tights to prepare for the upcoming winter. They were poorly made, shapeless and due to a lack of form, would not stay in place. The waist band was scratchy. They reminded me of a project from sewing class in the 8th grade and looked as if I could have made them. I almost flunked sewing.
By Linda from CT from New Haven on 09/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are a great idea because they have so many uses. I love these tights/pants.
By Kristina from Wisconsin on 09/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have looked for something like this for a long time, but could never find them long enough. These don't really seem like tights and I'm not sure that I will wear them under pants in the winter because they are a bit thick for that. But, if I get cold enough, I will. Mainly, I will wear them for sleeping in.
By liljumpinjackie from Central PA on 03/21/2009 Pros: Ultra soft, Warm, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use them under scrubs on cold days. They keep me from feeling the cold, even on very windy days. Insulating, more than thermal long johns, and much softer, smoother feeling.
MICROFLEECE TIGHTS RUN VERY SMALL By akroadkill from AK on 03/10/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered these tights 2 sizes larger than I normally wear.
I wear them under a thin water repellent zippered pant when cross country skiing and have been very warm.
ORDER BIG!
great fit, warm, flattering By ctgrl from CT on 03/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Warm Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a size L and I am generally a size 10, sometimes a 12. The L is a perfect fit. I love these - - they blow away the store brand pair I got from a major outdoor sports retailer, and you can't beat the price. I do not have a perfect figure, and these are very flattering despite being quite fitted. They are comfortable under my shell pants and were great for skiing in VT and snowshoeing. They do get a bit warm during strenuous exercise, like winter backpacking. Great for the lodge or cabin after a long day outdoors, and even comfortable to sleep in. I wish they had a pocket, but then I don't, because they are quite sleek and a pocket would ruin the look.
Black Diamond Sportswear Microfleece Tig By bluebell from texas on 03/02/2009 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These tights were so high-waisted I felt like a kid in first grade with my tights pulled up past my belly. Not at all a flattering fit!
