We wear these skiing. With some long underwear, these microfleece pants, and their ski pants, they never complain they are cold. The kids love them!

Not the quality I expected from Black Diamond. I have purchased other fleece items that were of much greater quality. Also, these seemed to run small and short. My kids are tall so they didn't work.

It was great under ski bibs, but the fitted look isn't something he would want to be seen in anywhere else. Whether or not that's a good thing depends on what you want to use these for.
