By Brian from Wyomin on 02/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm Cons: No elastic band at bottom Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used to do outdoor chores. Fits great, but would be better if there was an elastic band at the bottom to ensure no cold air can come up.
By Ranger Tim from Central Virginia on 01/18/2009 Pros: Durable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've had this jacket for about four years now and it takes daily abuse like no other. Working outdoors as I do, I never know what I will be doing next and this jacket takes the punishment and keeps looking good, even when dirty. It is plenty warm for active work down to 0 degrees F with no other insulation. Get the longer coat length if you want something to lounge in. The Sandstone finish is a big improvement over the duck in terms of comfort.

By Working Man from Salt Lake City on 09/09/2007 Pros: Durable, Easy to clean, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational, Outside work and play Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After 5 years, the coat that I purchased has finally worn out and I'm now on my second coat. The only problem that I've had with the coat is that the bottom of the sleeves wear out faster than any other part because they're made of cloth and the gathered knitting is up inside....they take a lot of abuse. The coat is extremely warm in the winter and is the right length and construction to use on chilly days. I like the cut as it fits like a heavy jacket and is not so long that it interferes with movement. Mine has been camping with the scouts, hunting, and to work on a very regular basis. It's not a casual-wear coat for me as I put it through its paces daily in the winter. I know that I will buy this same item again when the new one wears out. Hey, I'm stuck in a rut here......
