A wonderful subtle tone at our entryway.

By BetteH from Bronx, NY on 06/12/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Pleasant Chime, Sensitive To Breezes Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These chimes are a nice size, they are long and thick and give off a deeper sound. They mix well with higher pitched chimes. We hung them on an upper limb of our japanese maple using a protective hook not to damage the tree bark. They blend wonderfully in the garden.

By Libby from Alexandria, VA on 06/07/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Pleasant Chime Describe Yourself: Nature lover Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Beautiful sound and lovely to look at--so simple and pleasing. The Athena chimes are resonant (rich, but not deep) as a result of their substantial, quality construction. They are from the high-end series by Woodstock and, as such, are heavier than many others and should be hung from a sturdy support (a small branch won't do). They do not have an O-ring for suspension and so you will need to devise a hook or nail from which to hang the chimes. Probably best hung from deck or porch.

By KP from Lower Merion, PA on 06/04/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Pleasant Chime, Sensitive To Breezes, Weather Resistant Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The chimes have a lovely tone and are good quality materials. It took a little time to find the right place to hang them---somewhere where the wind would kiss them gently. Once we did find a good spot, they move readily, but are not annoying and loud. I plan to buy a second set for our front yard.
