This is beautiful casual jacket! It is such a well made jacket. The only thing that I wish was different is that it had a zipper. The buttons are classier looking. I am just a zipper person. Yes, I would recommend this jacket to any casual dresser.

Comments:
This is a cute jacket, but depending on what you want it for would determine if you like it. It is fine for walking dogs, working in the yard or running errands. It isn't particularly stylish. I think that it would be better if I could cuff the sleeves to show the under-side pattern, but if I do then the sleeves are too short. My mom complimented me on it...but my teenage daughter or boyfriend wouldn't. If that tells you anything...

Comments:
This jacket is excellent quality as expected from Orvis, constructed like a tailored coat used to be. I saw one review about the colour and almost hesitated, but to me it's a pale lemon; and perfect for Spring. It's warmer than expected with a classic small windowpane plaid flannel lining, cuffs that snap but can turn back and inside pocket. the quilting is subtle and very finely stiched. I wear it to walk the dogs or even a quick trip to the market. The style is boxy and pretty unfitted so wouldn't wear it to dinner obviously. I normally take a medium, but the small is ample enough to accomodate a wool sweater underneath. If it came in other colours, I'd grab another one for the price. Arrived fairly wrinkled, but a quick iron put it looking off the rack. This will last and last.

I wear this coat every day to walk my dogs. They're big dogs so we take big walks, through the woods and plains, and I need lots of pockets, layerablity, and durability. I have it all in this jacket. The only con is the puky yellowish color. However it will soon be so dirty that I won't notice it!

This jacket is lovely. It is a little warmer than I expected, but that is because it has some insulation and a flannel lining. For my area it is warm enough for all but the sleeting days. If you are between sizes, go down. There is plenty of room. The detailing is meticulous, and I love the snaps. The yellow color is attractive, not garish but more a light wheat or sand, and the fabric has enough texture to look outdoorsy. Looks good and feels good. I have worn it every day since it came.

Comments:
I will wear this jacket to the barn when it's raining - it's warm, water resistant and the roomy cut is good for mobility. I originally ordered the extra large as I wanted it roomy so I could do barn chores in it comfortably - but the relaxed fit is so roomy I exchanged it for a smaller size (L) which was still a bit big.

This is a perfect garment for ever-changing Spring weather. The treated fabric has been worn in both snow and rain within the last few days, and stood the test well. The cut is loose...so one can easily throw it over anything, the style casual. NOT cocktail party wear...but good for just about anything else in a normal day. I expect it to "age with grace", relying upon the built-in quality and ageless design. LOVE IT!!!
