By Jay from Lexington, KY on 02/27/2008 Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The zipper did not hang straight, but looked wavy when the jacket hung open.

Practical, stylish, comfortable By Mac from Maryland on 12/23/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Classic, Conservative, High-end shopper, Quality conscious Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I suspect the several reviewers who have called this jacket too small and oddly cut are unfamiliar with English sizing -- not surprising, since I initially made the same mistake, and the web page doesn't explicitly tell you to add 4 to your regular size to find the correct English size (e.g., if you normally wear a 6, you need to order this in a 10). I love mine and I wear it almost daily when it's cool but not bitterly cold (between 30-50F).
By christamas from near the boarder on 12/20/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sizing in this jacket is strange. It is very roomy across the back, but too tight elsewhere. It should be too tight as I purchased a US 6 when I thought I was buying a 10. I would swim in a ten. I like everything about this jacket and wish I could keep it.
Odd cut through upper back and shoulders By El from Indiana on 12/06/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight Cons: Too big in shoulders Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket was poorly cut through the shoulders and upper back. The shoulders were about an inch down on my arm and there was extra material under the armpits.

It is lightweight and stylish.
Great Look, But Plenty of Problems By Anonymous from New York on 09/20/2007 Pros: Durable, High quality fabric, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Peculiar cut, Poorly executed features Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a lot of Barbour and you can't beat the quality but this particular model is disappointing. It's strangely cut, producing an awkward fit: too tight in the hips, too loose in the torso. The stand-up collar -- a feature I look for and appreciate -- doesn't work at all here. Too high, and too bulky, this collar's uncomfortably restricting. And the stylish-looking slash pockets? The flap functions poorly, preventing you from easily sliding your hand in. You'll get scratched by the zippers every time! I'm surprised at the problems with this model, since Barbour generally produces thoughtful designs that are a pleasure to wear.
