The size does indeed run small, but I didn't like the fit of the medium, it fit funky across the front above the breast. My hope is after it is washed the fabric will soften more and lay against me better.

Runs Small - order larger! I am a true Medium in most items - a women's 8. This shirt fits very well in the shoulders - a big tight in the chest - and really tight/snug on the waist area. I am going to try to order a large as it is such neat fabric, looks really cool, and I can tell will be very warm as a layer or a good med. wt. piece by itself. I will wear it to gym, rollerblading, soccer practice if I can get a size that fits well.
