One minor gripe, the collar could be more stiff. I'm 6ft, 185lbs, and the medium fits me quite well.

The sleeves on Cloudveil garments are unusually long, but a medium is just right for me, a size 41 long.

By Elliot from Cary, NC on 12/10/2007 Best Uses: Stationary activities Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great jacket and has a lot of thoughtful features missing from more mainstream down jackets like the TNF Nuptse, which my wife has. The Nuptse is a bare-bones jacket, but the Cloudveil has the following: fleeced collar/chin liner, snow skirt, handwarmer pockets, internal pocket, adjustable cuffs, and a helmet-friendly down-filled hood. This is aside from the fact that it's windproof (Gore Windstopper). I wouldn't pay retail, but the discounted price here made it well worth it. If they made one for women my wife would replace her Nuptse jacket today.
