great jacket...true to size By mommaE from portland, oregon on 08/11/2009 Best Uses: Cold house, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: don't be mislead by so many of the other reviews. i bought this jacket in a small, thinking it would be big because of what others had said about fit. i wish i had ordered the x-small, but the small still fits nice enough to avoid a return. i have LONG arms and the sleeve length was fine. the upper arm sleeve fit is a bit big, but i will probably be layering it over sweaters this winter while hanging out in my cold home. maybe my biceps will get huge and then i will be really glad for the extra room. :)

I love the soft edge on the back of the zipper, where it hits your neck/face.
Stylish enough for around town. I've had this coat in red for a year, and ordered black when it went on sale. I dread the day these coats become too ratty to wear!

I finally feel warm when out with the dogs early in the mornings and so far it has been water repellent. It is a little extra puffy, but I was looking for warmth, not something sleek!

It was too small for an extra large and it feels about as heavy as a kleenex! I am returning it today. It definitely wouldn't be good for Iowa winters.

Well, I was happily surprised. The jacket is SO warm! I highly reccommend it to anyone. I use it for around town shopping, going to the gym and have even been to outside winter sports in it....I have not been cold yet.
