Well, I was happily surprised. The jacket is SO warm! I highly reccommend it to anyone. I use it for around town shopping, going to the gym and have even been to outside winter sports in it....I have not been cold yet.

Good coat, just runs small By b from Kansas on 02/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great coat. Durable, warm and comfortable.
I am usually a medium. The medium coat sleeve length was too short and the coat fit a little snug in the torso. I exchanged for a large, and it is perfect.

By puffy coat from NY, NY on 02/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It seemed to have too much shoulder and bust room, and very tight on the bottom zipper area and I normally have the opposite problem!

I wanted a compressible down jacket By Karry from Washington, DC on 02/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Cons: Inadequate Protection, Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return the size large and get an extra large because the waist and chest were too snug. I normally wear a large in a jacket..the sleeves are just right because I am petite heightwise. While i was at it, I swapped the black for the dark red and really like the color. My objective was to get a compressible jacket that i could take on travel where I had both warm and cool temps. This supposedly fits into it's own stuff sack. I can do it only by stuffing real hard..it really needs a bigger pocket. But, I'm keeping the jacket since it was good value and I'm tired of looking. Haven't worn it yest so cannot comment on the warmth -- I'd guess it's not super warm--maybe good for 30-40degrees or 20 when hiking. Should have a fold-in hood but doesn't.
By misSOULa from Missoula, MT on 02/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The chest is a bit larger than I wanted, but other than that it fits really well and is an attractive look for a puffy coat! I love that the zipper has a guide to keep fabric from getting caught. Stuffs into its own pocket!
