By sbg from NC on 11/24/2008 Best Uses: Cold nasty weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this as a general purpose, nasty weather jacket. I hate big bulky jackets and like the combination of light weight and weather protection that this offers.
It does seem a little small and the sleeves are a little long but the price was amazing, the quality is excellent and the color (red) is very nice.

By Pixel Chick from Grover Beach, CA on 11/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The color was pretty weird, kind of a baby poo yellow/brown/green! The collar was way way too stiff making the jacket pretty uncomfortable. I returned it and am waiting on a similar product made by another company.
nice jacket for biking in europe By pleased as punch from South Carolina on 11/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Stretchy, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Needs thin fleece base Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Rainy europe biking, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is just what I needed to conserve space in a backpack while biking around in all kinds of weather; wind, rain and cold temperatures in October.
Plenty of pockets for essentials, interesting color, and great stretchability for moving, reaching. Nice high neck to keep out the wind. Slimming profile; stylish. I added a thin fleece baselayer beneath when it was really cold. Plan to ski in it this winter.
Great Jacket, Great Price By Poodleparent from Phoenix, AZ on 11/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice fitted jacket. Order a size larger if you are going to wear much under it. It does get cold (relatively) in AZ in the winter, so this will be great for hiking or walking the dogs!

great fabric, terrible zipper By Hope from NY on 11/23/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Poor Ventilation, Terrible zipper, Vents not underarms Best Uses: Hiking, Sea kayaking, Snowshoeing, Xc skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Great fabric, but so hard to zip. Also would never use the pit zips because they are on upper chest instead of under arms pits and would not work at all in rainy or snowy conditions because they expose underlayment. They'd only be OK when dry outside. And would be underneath straps of backpack. Fabric seems fine. Have not worn it in really cold conditions yet but imagine it is warm enough for aerobic pursuits. I am going to use it for winter sea kayaking over full wetsuit and maybe up at Lake Placid this coming weekend.
By sushibarb from Loveland, CO on 11/23/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I Bought the green olive color, it looked terrible on me. Should of went with red. I am only 5' 4" the length was a little too long on me. I wanted it for skiing, maybe in the spring. The jacket is well made, seams are nicely sealed. Stick with the red or purple if your med to light sinked. The olive would work with dark sink. I returned mine because the color looked so wrong on me. And the length was a bit long.
By Margaret from Boston, MA on 11/20/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat is indeed waterproof! I wore it horseback riding during a steady rain and remained dry all day. I can't wait to test it in the mountains this winter!
By Tarheel from Atlanta on 11/17/2008 Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Out of the box, the stand up collar was too tall and had an uncomfortable fit on my chin. After first use, I didn't even notice the collar. Color is red like a maraschino cherry - not the pink that appears online. Still a pretty color. Toasty warm on cold, breezy mornings. Wish the vent zipper pulls were easier to handle with gloved hands.
