By skinny skiier from colorado on 11/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Blue slope skier, Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: pros and cons to this jacket. on the upside, the goretex material is waterproof and breathable, so layering beneath the jacket will allow body heat regulation. downers are thin flimsy material which makes me wonder about durability, and it does seem to run a bit small (buy a size up .. it's a shell, so you need room for a fleece underneath) i am 5'4 and 150 pds. the medium was small .... the large seems good. i'll keep
Great jacket, but runs small... By Recreational skier from Denver, CO on 11/13/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Cross Country, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Marmot jackets, and a medium usually fits me perfectly. This jacket runs small, and was too short in the torso and sleeves. It was also a little tight. The quality was just as good as any other Marmot I have had, but I would recommend ordering one size up.

By winter enthusiast from CT on 10/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered this in two colors and decided to keep the bluejay. It is really nice and very well made. Have not yet tried in a downpour or outside, just got. However, with a fleece or sweater underneath, have plenty of room to function. Only drawback is the bottom/hips may be tight on someone - just fits me (35/36 hips).

By KAZ MEXICO from GOLD COAST AUSTRALIA on 05/08/2008 Best Uses: Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: UNFORTUNETLY I WISHED I KNEW THIS IS JUST A "SHELL" SO EVEN THOUGH GORTEX JUST NOT THICK ENOUGH TO KEEP WARM WOULD HAVE LIKED SOME INSULATION AND MORE FEEDBACK BEFORE I BOUGHT,MIND YOU IT LOOKS GREAT
Nice lightweight jacket that's warm too By Monoski Terry from Concord, CA on 03/31/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Just a little too small Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The sizing is just a little tighter than it should be when I have items in the pockets. Otherwise it fits fine and keeps me warm and dry with a minimum of weight.
